MULTIPLE positive COVID-19 WWE tests
UPDATE: Mike Johnson from PW Insider is now reported that at least “two dozen” employees have tested positive for COVID-19. This includes performers, staff, production and other employees.
Ryan Satin from Pro Wrestling sheet is exclusively reporting that multiple WWE personnel who have been in the WWE Performance Center have tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
The report states that this also includes in-ring talent too.
While the report does not state when the persons were tested for COVID-19 exactly or how many of the positive cases were indeed in-ring talent, Pro Wrestling Sheet sources have suggested to the publication that at least 3 people did indeed test positive for the Coronavirus who had been at the WWE Performance Center this week.
It has since been reported by Ryan Satin that more testing will now be undertaken by WWE’s medical team prior to this week’s television production commences to ensure that the Coronavirus does not spread further amongst the talent and employees present.
This comes on the back of a WWE talent testing positive for COVID-19 last week, sparking major discussion if WWE was doing enough with testing, health and safety when it comes to COVID-19.
WWE undertook its first round of actual COVID-19 testing last week, months after the Coronavirus was deemed a global pandemic and many countries and states were forced into lockdown and quarantine.
