Jon Moxley in contact with COVID-19 case – Will miss AEW Dynamite
AEW president Tony Khan has confirmed that AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will miss tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite after coming in contact with a person who has tested positive with COVID-19.
In an attempt to maintain the health and safety of the AEW wrestlers, staff and employees at Daily’s Place, AEW medical team has asked Jon Moxley to stay at home and get tested.
Therefore Jon Moxley will miss tonight’s show. Moxley had been scheduled to be in action with Taz on commentary for the match, hyping up the AEW World Championship match between Jon Moxley and Brian Cage at Fyter Fest.
This is the second case of an AEW wrestler missing tonight’s Dynamite due to coming in contact with a COVID-19 case, after Tony Khan confirmed that QT Marshall will also miss tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite for the same reasons.
No word on how these absences will effect future AEW Dynamite tapings or the AEW Fyter Fest editions of Dynamite on July 1st and 8th.
