On this day 1 year ago…WWE Super Show-Down 2018

On this day 1 year ago, WWE Super Show-Down emanated from the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne Australia. The event drew 70,309 fans in attendance and was WWE’s first Pay Per View event in Australia in 16 years.

In the main event Triple H (with Shawn Michaels) defeated The Undertaker (with Kane) in a No Disqualification match that was dubbed the “Last Time Ever” that Triple H and The Undertaker would meet in singles competition.

In the finish of the match The Undertaker had Shawn Michaels in position for the Tombstone Piledriver. However, Triple H would then attack The Undertaker with a sledgehammer before Shawn Michaels would hit “Sweet Chin Music” on The Deadman. Triple H would then hit the “Pedigree” for the victory via pin-fall.

After the match Kane, who had been put through an announce table during the match, would enter the ring. All four WWE legends would then show mutual respect and pose for the crowd to seemingly end the show.

However, in a shocking twist, The Brothers of Destruction would then attack both Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Both Kane and The Undertaker would then put “The Heartbreak Kid” through an announce table to close the show.

What are your memories of the match?
