Vince McMahon unhappy with NXT?
After a newsworthy day yesterday regarding Paul Heyman’s departure from the Raw creative team, reports are now surfacing that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is not happy with NXT’s ratings.
Ever since WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite started going head to head on Wendesday nights, the black and gold brand has largely lost the battle for live viewers in the Wednesday Night Wars.
While some speculated that WWE was not bothered by this as NXT was still WWE’s developmental, new reports that Vince McMahon isn’t happy to continually lose to another professional wrestling company. It has been reported that McMahon isn’t looking to make any drastic creative changes yet, with Triple H remaining at the helm for the black and gold brand.
However, it has been said that Vince McMahon and the WWE higher ups are considering sending more Raw and Smackdown Superstars to NXT, such as the company did with Charlotte Flair, to help win the ratings battle against AEW Dynamite.
So, what changes could WWE make to NXT to help gain more viewers on Wednesday nights?
Take a look at my thoughts on the potential changes to NXT in our latest YouTube video below.
