Who Remembers this 2011 WWE Draft Moment?

Who remembers this moment on from the 2011 WWE Draft?

The 2011 WWE Draft took place during the April 25, 2011 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw in Raleigh, North Carolina from the RBC Center.

As was the format for previous WWE Drafts, Superstars from Raw and Smackdown would compete in matches with the winners of the matches earning Draft picks for their respective brands.

During the first match of the night, Smackdown’s Big Show and Kofi Kingston won a 20-man over the top rope battle royal, last eliminating Raw’s Mason Ryan, to earn a draft pick for the blue brand.

In a shocking twist, this first draft pick would be no other than the leader of the Cenation himself, John Cena. Fans and Superstars alike were stunned to see WWE’s then franchise player seemingly switch brands from Raw to Smackdown.

Cena’s first match back as a member of the blue brand would be in the main event of the evening. In a 6-man tag team match, Raw’s WWE Champion The Miz, CM Punk and the newly-drafted Alberto Del Rio would defeat Smackdown’s John Cena, Christian and newly drafted Worlds Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

To the WWE Champion The Miz’s amazement, Raw’s draft pick and last televised pick of the evening would be John Cena AGAIN. Now being drafted back to Raw from Smackdown, Cena would attack the heel members of the Raw team he recently faced, standing tall once again as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster.
